EVENT DETAILS
The Omaha Marathon is a locally-run event organized by the Omaha Running Club.
The Omaha Running Club successfully hosted the Heartland Marathon for 10 years. 2024 marked the last year of the event. We are proud to bring back our namesake event, the Omaha Marathon. The Omaha Marathon will replace the Heartland Marathon as our signature fall running event.
The Omaha Running Club manages both events. If you were unable to use your 2024 Heartland Marathon registration and you confirmed in advance through the ORC to carry it forward to 2025, you will be able to use the registration for the 2025 Omaha Marathon.
Yes. The Omaha Running Club is a non-profit organization that supports the local running community including race management, trail clean-up and training. In addition, the event will sponsor the Omaha Police Department Foundation and the Council Bluffs Police Department.
