Race Weekend 101

Everything Athletes & Spectators Need to Know for the 2016 Omaha Marathon

Packet Pick-up Hours
Saturday, Sept. 17 11am – 6pm
Sunday, Sept. 18 5am – 10:30am

*You must have a photo ID to pick up your packet.  You can pick up someone else’s packet with your photo ID and a copy of the other person’s ID.*

T-shirts were ordered based on the size you requested during registration.  T-shirts are only guaranteed if you registered 30 days prior to the race.  If you did not register in time to receive a t-shirt or your t-shirt does not fit, you can either exchange or receive a shirt after your race.  Limited quantities and sizes available post-race, distribution done on first-come-first-serve basis.

Race Day Registration
All race day registrations must be completed 30 minutes prior to that race’s start time. Click here to view registration fees.

Race Start Times
Half Marathon:  Sunday – 7am
Marathon:  Sunday – 7am
5K:  Sunday – 10am
Friends & Family Mile:  Sunday – 10:30am
10K:  Sunday – 11am

Parking
Parking is available in the lots surrounding TD Ameritrade Park.  These lots charge $8 per vehicle.

Timing
This is a chip timed event. To receive a time, runners must wear bibs uncovered on their front.

All results will be listed on OmahaMarathon.com.

Dry Bag Drop
A limited number of Dry Bags will be accepted on Race Day.

The secure Dry Bag Drop will be located in Parking Lot D of TD Ameritrade Park.

Pasta Party – Saturday, Sept. 17 | 4-6pm
The Bullpen at The Old Mattress Factory

Omaha, NE

Only those athletes who RSVP’d will be allowed free entry to the Pasta Party. RSVP by September 1st to hitspastaparty@gmail.com. Athletes may pick up their entry wristband on Saturday, Sept. 17 at the Expo between 11am-6pm. Friends, family and all athletes who did not RSVP can purchase a wristband for $10 cash/check at the Expo or at The Bullpen door.

Menu includes: meat sauce, meatless sauce, pasta, salad, bread, soda and water.

SPECTATORS

Spectators are welcome and encouraged to cheer from the TD Ameritrade Stadium stands. Spectators will not be allowed on the field.

-Half Marathon Turnaround at Minne Lusa Blvd. & Sharon Drive
-Marathon Turnaround at Carter Lake Dr., just north of Locust St.
-N. 16th St. between Capitol Ave. &  Cass St. (Excellent  for viewing 5K,10K, Half Marathon & Marathon athletes)
-N. 10th St & Mike Fahey St. (Excellent for viewing all athletes)
